Retired from the fields since spring 1997, King had confirmed his desire to invest himself in a career of actor. If he appeared several time on the movie screens, he recognize himself that the try was not completely convincing.

From his first trial (Le bonheure est dans le pré, Les enfants du marais) to a main caracter (Mookie), Cantona was not certainly as credible as wanted. Such point that it even recently declared to a french TV program called "Tout le monde en parle", that he may not have enough talent for this job.

But the genius of the play grounds is also a very curious guy! Very quickly, it was invested in the theatrical production (with Niels Arestrup and Jean Jacques Gomila), while preserving other occasions to have fun. Because if he turned the back on the sport world, the round balloon did not completely leave his life!

Since several seasons, it has been even the main player of France's beach-soccer team whose selector is no one else that his brother Joel. With Jean Marc Ferreri, Laurent Fournier or JPP, he shines now on other grounds. Where nobody can doubt from his talent!
